Go Green at the Green Market at Phipps Conservatory

Green Market at Phipps

Hosted by Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is Pittsburg’s community farmer’s market – The Green Market. This vibrant market brings together community members, vendors, local artisans and food producers. Be sure to stop by to pick up the healthy items you need!

Why Green?

This market is one of the greenest shopping experiences in town. Visit the front lawn to browse a colorful cornucopia of organic and sustainable goods from local vendors. It has lots to offer, ranging from health and beauty supplies to herbs and spices, to fresh organic and certified naturally grown foods.

Meet the Artisans Who Produced your Goods!

While at The Green Market, you can meet the very people who produced these great goods! They’ll be in the market ready to talk and answer any questions you may have, share the secrets of their trade, or give you some recipe ideas. During your visit, be sure to explore the outdoor gardens and sustainable plant beds. You can use these as inspiration to empower yourself to make healthy, planet-friendly choices.

While you’re there, you are also invited to purchase tickets to the exciting new art exhibit, SUPER. NATURAL. The exhibit is glass art by local artist Jason Gamrath. Click here to read more about SUPER. NATURAL.
